Sandi, this is great! It's so hard to find humorous websites on MS! There's a great book out by David Naster called, "You Just Have To Laugh". Great short stories. Laughing is all that gets me through the day sometimes. Personally, one of the funniest things I've run across, was when there was an MS meeting with the title of "Staying Positive with MS". I was looking forward to it, then a week before the date it was canceled due to lack of interest! It's almost like everyone was saying, "Staying positive? What's the point; I have MS"!

Please keep up the good work! We need our humor; regardless if it dark, sick, or twisted!

I had to return an item to a shop the other day - I was also experiencing an attack at the time; I lost the ability to hold a pen with my right hand.

I told the sales assistant I couldn't sign any paperwork, but she just said just make a cross where it says signature. So I did.

Then she said "don't forget your surname"

uh..... what?

So I did the only thing I could think of at the time and put another cross.

It's comforting to note that if I loose 90% of my cognitive functions in the coming years, I could still get a job at that shop... I think I'd fit right in?

I'd rather laugh at my MS than sit down and obsess about how much it actually worries me.

We all have different coping stratagies.... humour is just one of the more pleasant ones.
